Hi again......

I think i'm getting bored of working at subway. I think it's just me. I get bored easily. I constantly need new things to spice up my life. As for subway, they've just bought a new toaster oven. That should keep me happy and contented for awhile. Anyway, I suddenly have a feeling that my boss hates me. The whole of today and yesterday she kept scolding me. She accused me of screwing up the oven, putting too much veggies, putting the sauce too slowly and loads of other things. Damn.. And she always praising Jia Hui. That little bugger.

Sigh.. On a lighter note, I've just passed my basic theory test and have also gotten my provisional driving liscence. I can drive on the road from tomorrow onwards! Woohoo! My brother's coming back from aussie land tommorow too. Can't pick him up cuz i have to go to work. Work work work... my life is so monotonous, it practically revolves around subway. Well, at least JH's working with me tomorrow. Though he behaves a little funny-ly when working. Oya, i was on the subject about my brother.. I'm gonna be kiasu and ask him to teach me to drive so that i can quickly pass my practical test.

Haven't been going out lately. Well, not that much anyway. Went blading with JH and richard the other day. All the way to bukit timah for prata and milo godzilla. And watched just like heaven with simoan, bp, yangthong and melvin, xiany joined us to take some pictures after that.

Alryte, I'm gonna sleep now. Gotta wake up early for my driving tomorrow. Goodnight. =)

Sigh... what a holiday.. I need a real break! Well... i don't really mind going back for chemistry cuz Ms. Seah is quite nice. She let us watch her wedding video yesterday. And today she gave us cookies. They were quite nice even though they were a week old. She didn't want to tell us who made them.. hmm...

Anyway, today we only had chemistry lesson. So after two hours, we went up to the library. Saw yoona doing her work so we decided to join her. I think we ended up disturbing her for the whole hour until she gave up trying to do her work. haha.. Don't hate us!

Went for lunch at sakura. The food wan't too bad. After lunch, we just sat down for quite awhile and talked a lot of crap.

Oh.. and today is the first time (and hopefully the last) I had to kneel down in the underpass picking up hamster corn cob. This woman banged into Daphne and her whole hamster cage toppled over. The woman just stood there and stared (or should i say glared) at us clearing up after the poor traumatised hamster. She didn't bother to apologise or help.

Took the train back with yoona and xiany.

Yup.. anyway, I've just woken up from my slumber and I still feel kinda grogy.. Thought of taking Bear for a walk but I'm quite lazy to change and get outside.

did loads of stuff over the past few days (or weeks).
-Went for LISS
-went to buy teacher's day presents at ikea with simoan, james and ash
-gave SH a toilet brush for teacher's day
-helped out at cannosa children's home
-brought ass and simone to church (tgt with james)

And loads of other stuff. Anyway, today was ok. Went for mass in the morning and then went to centerpoint for lunch. Came home and slept and then went for the novena procession in the evening. The flowers were, as usual, beautiful like every year. The sound system wasn't all that good. But I was overwhelmed by the shear number of people present. All the way to the other side of the road! Imagine if it wasn't raining... there'd be even more! I was quite proud of them I must say, even though some were rather kiasu (pushing me everywhere just to get within the crowd).

today was a good day for me. Dunno why but I'm in such a good mood.

Went to school in the morning for the teacher's day rehearsal thingy. Saw bom piah and yang thong waiting for duncan and his girlfriend and Inge and her kid to bring them to some hydroponics place.

Came home after that and slept till ash and simone woke me up to tell me they've reached novena square. Had lunch with them afterwhich they popped by for a while. Simone and I wanted to blade but ash was damn reluctant. What a fun monitor... Anyway, after they left, I went to sleep again till mama called me ask me to get ready for evening mass. I think today's mass was quite a fruitful one cuz I somehow could understand the readings.

Got to eat SOBA at paragon for dinner. Thanks goes out to ms. joanne lim. I love the cold soba man!

I'm gonna take some antihistamine pill or something now. That insect bite is killing me. The swelling itchy bump is spreading throughout my right forearm. I think it must've been a spider. Gonna sleep after that. Yawn. Slept so much but still so sleepy. Wassup with me?

Failed 3 consecutive bio tests! and my maths test too! Also, can't understand nuts about electochem and differentiation. what's up with me man... I'm like falling down this endless spiral. Better get back on my feet soon before it's too late. I don't want to get superannuated.
Shit... maybe i was wrong. Maybe I do have to study after all... This whole time I've been depending on previous (last years) knowledge to get me through. It worked the 1st half of the year.. What's happening now?

Sigh... I think i'm gonna start studying from now on (at least until the exams). There's gonna be a new me from tomorrow onwards. Just you wait and see.

cut my hair with kev today at EC house. Damn short - damn ugly.

James, mel, kai and pinkie came over to my place later on (james wanted to get something from me). We ended up trying to fix my bed which had somehow fallen apart. When I pulled the movable cupboard out of the way so we could fix the bed, the wheel came off! Seriously a series of unfortunate events. Luckily we had the brains of ms. majumdar, the brawns of Mr. muscles, the wushu of Mr. ex-VP, the supervision of ms. blur and the mere presence and greatness of me. Anyway, thanks to everyone who has helped in one way or another! If it weren't for you guys, I would be bed-less tonight. It was fun though... haha

Contemplating on whether I should bathe bear now. Haven't bathed him for almost 3 weeks.

i take back what i said. Yesterday wasn't boring. Last night Joanne cam back from aussie land and she bought KRISPY KREMES!!!

Later on in the night something else funny happened. I was there happily doing my tut 9.4 and my mother brought out this set of juggling balls and started juggling right there and then. She said they were on offer. Not very good I must say, but she did put in the effort. Hahaha... I was trying so hard to control my laughter..

went for the vatican exhibition at the asia civilsations museum this morning with matt and his mum and all her auntyish friends. The tour around the museum included other stuff too. Some things there were quite disturbing. The vatican part was cool though..

Anyway, my aunty bought lunch at petals restaurant. At last - my 80 bucks which i paid for the grooming course comes in handy. This place brought back memories though. This was the place where I had my fine dining course during my secondary school days. I remembered exactly where I was sitting with Fannie, Jilin and Kenneth... Sigh.. miss those times.

school was rather slack today. Everything went rather smoothly except that duncan was quite mean to the class.. And that SH didn't want me to "disrupt" her J2 lesson. Damn bad la. Anyway went back myself today cuz everyone was having photo taking.

At novena, I saw a group of SAJC people bringing another group of mentally disabled people for an outing. I think they were doing CIP or something. But the thing was, all of them looked so happy. They were all taking pictures together and stuff.. Well, at least there are some people who still care.

Anyway, it's day 2 of LISS. Hope it turns out fine!

Anyway, my plans to sleep by 8 today were screwed - again! Came back around 6 and learnt that my grandmother was admitted to TTSH cuz she had a fall. Naturally, we went to see her and then had dinner. She was very grumpy cuz she hadn't had her lunch, so she started scolding everyone, including the nurse. So embarrassing la. lao shi was really pissed in school today. And when i say really, i mean really really. Haven't seen her that mad before. Shouted at people for no apparent reason and then after that cry in class somemore. Sigh... all because of yesterday's chinese lecture incident. Thank goodness.. for once I'm not involved in this sorta thing. Well, since she was scolding us for 2 hrs, I was obviously late for my movie appointment.

Watched bewitched. I thought it was quite funny. Dunno why some people think otherwise. Just because the magazine rated it one and a half stars out of five, they claim that the movie is not good... Dun they have a mind of their own (btw I'm refering to ash. Haha)? I didn't think the ballsville and pussytown joke was that funny. I was just laughing at how the darren guy was chasing nicole kidman away with a tree branch when he learnt that she was a witch.

Met up with Aaron later on... He seems much skinnier than his originally already skinny self. And J Ang grew taller again. What the toot... I think there should be a limit man. We used to be of the same height in sec 3 la. Now he's 1.88 meters. crazy... Anyway, we talked for damn long. Just sat down there at mc cafe talking and smoking (not me) until about 10 pm. Parents called up. Said I was studying with my friends. Went to eat mos burger after that. Junni joined us later on. She said I looked different (cuter maybe...?). They had a poloroid camera with them so we just took a pic before I left.

Wanted to sleep at 8 pm today. Tomorrow sure cannot wake up again la. Sei ah...

the maths test was damn difficult la. Ash can still say it was ok. Bio test on the other hand, wasn't too bad just that they only gave 4 boxes for the meiosis process when there are in actual fact 8 steps (or 10 in you include prometaphase).

Anyway, enough of this gibberish.. Got scolded again during chem tutorial la (not really scold as in scold).. She just told me that I've been very restless the past few lessons. And it ain't my doing! Really! It's all thanks to the one and only - James Omar Iskander - who's always landing me in trouble , one way or another. What a nincompoop.

Spent the most part of my day searching for my antibiotics. Searched my room, my drawers, my messy table, under my bed, beside the fish tank, my grandma's room, the toilet, the kitchen and even the fridge! But to no avail...

Suddenly, about 20 minutes ago, an idea hit me. I ran to the back of the kitchen where my clothes were hanging and searched through my pants. There it was... soaking wet from the wash this afternoon. I opened the white packet and out came all the soapy water. Didn't know whether they were safe to consume but i ate them anyway.

the whole of today i've been trying to study but nothing's getting into my head. Still stuck at chp 9. Haven't started on chp 4, 7 & 8. And biology too! Futhermore, I had to attend to ash's questions. And simone made me walk all the way to united square to lend her my notes to photocopy... Wanted to play bishi bashi but the machine was spoilt. I tried hard to listen in church today. I really did. But it was difficult. Firstly, it's very difficult trying to understand fr. john sim cuz he speaks funny and secondly, the choir was kinda putting me off. For the "gloria", they sang gloria de lourdes which is my least favourite cuz it's very draggy. But wad's worse was that they sang it so slowly! Furthermore they sang the "holy holy" in Latin again... I miss fr. john lee and the old choir.

The bbq was great. I thought the killing of crabs was utterly cruel and inhumane but I ate them anyway. After that, i was messing around on shu en's msn and listening to my ipod with leo and gail. Watched the count dracula comedy on channel 19 after they left.

Tmr is one day b4 the tests. And is officially mugging day. I wanna win that 2 bucks from ash and james.

there weren't many old ppl there. Mostly working adults ranging from 20s to 40s. The session was really lively but I felt kind of awkward. Hopefully I''ll grow accustomed to it. Well... learnt loads of stuff today. About praising God and stuff. The speaker brother charlie goh was very engaging. And hilarious too! He also seems like a really wise person. Overall, the session was good. The only drawback was that we had to sit on our asses for 2+ hours! My butt hurts...

Just came back from the oriental hotel. We booked a hotel room there to get a bird's eye view of the fireworks.

Let me tell you... The national day parade does wonders. It just makes you feel so proud of your country. Just being part of the crowd gave me a sense of belonging (by the way, it isn't the padang crowd i'm talking about. I'm talking about the crowd that was outside the esplanade which stretched all the way to marina square and to the other side where the merlion was). What made me feel even better was when I looked at the expressions on the faces of the ang moh tourists beside me... They were practically in awe. They were so envious. I, on the other hand, felt quite proud and patriotic (which is seldom the case). Go singapore!

Anyway, I went to take some pictures and videos of the firework display later on in the evening from the 5th floor of the hotel. It was just as good if not better than the Disneyland electric parade! They even had fireworks which came out in the shape of a star (it was red with a green circle around it).

On the way back, all but one of the underpasses were blocked. And the policemen were stationed at every possible corner you could think of. Citylink was packed to the max! Haven't seen that many people there before. It was quite smelly actually... All the sweaty people coming from some place or another. Haha.. But that's beside the point.
This was one of the few times that I actually chatted with my mother (as in really chat. something which also occurs rather rarely) as we went back together by train.

Forced myself to get up at 12.30 pm this morning.
Went to peach garden for lunch. They almost left without me cuz I was bathing.
Had dinner at home today. Come to think of it, this is the first time I've had dinner at home for a really long time.

Anyway, something really bad happened just now. One of my hermit crab's claw broke. The WHOLE fucking claw!Didn't dare to remove it, it's still in the cage now. Wonder what happened.. Maybe Herm and Mitt were fighting (by the way, those are the names of my hermit crabs - actually, they're hazel's and mine cuz she caught it and I'm keeping it). Maybe it's retribution for biting me last time. Well... at least I've read that their claws do grow back.

I'm quite screwed, tomorrow's college day and I haven't taught my house any cheers yet. Hope there's some time to teach them tomorrow. No insult ash, but I'm not using any of your cheers cuz they're quite... erm... funny(?). Thanks anyway.

Went to st. michaels for evening mass. Fr. Peter Tan was the celebrant. I could hardly recognise he was my parish priest at risen christ.
Joanne brought us to the french stall for dinner after that. The beef onglet and the profiterole was really good.
Went to watch charlie and the chocolate factory at PS. The movie was superbly fantastic. I was left utterly dumbfounded. Everything was just so perfect. And the chocolate factory was like whoa... JD's acting was good too.
Came back after mid-night. Played Mahjong with hazel, joanne and aunty joyce till about 4.30am. Won a bit of money.
Slept after 5.30am.

Screwed my bio prac - it was on water retention of soil.
I became a little automysophobic after the practical cuz I read that each teaspoon of soil contained over 5 billion bacteria cells. I've washed my hands more than 12 times from then till now.
CLB was fun today. I crashed the J2's class. After 4pm, kev and jemery left for the college day meeting. So SH, leo and i were just sitting in the com lab doing crap. SH and leonard were singing songs and then after that she showed us her husband's website which had pics of their house and their wedding. She showed us a geocities website she created too. It had pictures of herself and her friends and stuff. After that we just sat there talking crap and reading people's blogs.
Went back with ash and xiany when i got bored of watching the rugby match.
Went to Newton circus for dinner today.
Can't wait for mahjong tomorrow. Melvin played us out, but ash, xiany and simoan and kev are coming.

Bio lecture was good cuz half the time we were doing things that had nothing to do with the topic. e.g. Watching parts of resident evil and listening to chee kang serenade the whole lecture group.
PE was fun too - didn't do much unless saving an earthworm that was lying stupidly on the track counts. James and I wanted to play squash after that but fifi convinced us to play tennis with him. After that he chased us away cuz we sucked.
Went to Hong Kong street for dinner and then hazel and I walked to cheers to buy ice-cream. We ended up buying vodka and fruit juice instead. The vodka was damn cool la. It came in a metal tube - like a big tube of toothpaste.

Gonna have a bio mock spa tomorrow on soil properties. What the hell la...

Anyway, I thought the Life In the Spirit Seminar(LISS) thingy starts tomorrow. But it's actually starting next friday. Yes...! Now I can go out for dinner tomorrow.

I think I'm suffering from pertussis. (The following information may be useful for my dear cousin (Dr to be) hazel lim who is suffering with me. Reference pg 1141 of the sacred manual)

Symptoms:
The illness lasts about 6 weeks, progressing through three stages: mild cold-like symptoms, severe coughing fits, and gradual recovery (hope it comes soon). Cold-like symptoms include sneezing, runny nose, and a general feeling of malaise. After 1 - 2 weeks, the person develops typical coughing fits. Blah blah blah... Decided to go to macs for breakfast with kevin since we were already late. Bought strepsils cough syrup from cold storage and took it on the way to school. Tasted like shit. But it did help with the bloody cough.

The public speaking usual was - as usual - filled with james' lame jokes. Some of them were funny actually but I didn't want to laugh cuz his head would become so big that he probably would not be able to go through the LT doors later on. Anyway, today I made sure the uncle saved a bowl of porridge foe me so I'dhave something to eat for lunch.

We learnt how to dress properly in grooming class today. Gotta do a catwalk on friday. I'm not the least bit afraid cuz I'm so perfect. Haha... Can't wait for tomorrow's fine dining thingy.

Workshop

I thought the workshop started at nine! I guessed I was wrong when kai, rauzan and daps called me at 7.40 to ask where I was. Anyway, when I got there at 8.30, it hadn't even started yet. The public speaking workishop was a bore. 3+ horus of pure toture. Come on man! We've been through this workshop like twice or thrice last year! Not saying that Mr. Raj was not good or anything.. He was quite engaging but the content was all too familiar and monotonous. Eye-contact, confidence, hand-gestures... Didn't we learn that even in PW (yuck)!?

The second workshop was much more fun. We learnt how to get our posture right and walk right (We've gotta do a realk catwalk on friday). Then the trainer thought us facial care (Maurice was the guinea pig), and how to put on make up. I can't believe guys put on make up too! No offence but i think that's quite gay.

We had some hands on after that. Had a good laugh when daphne put on the mask for james. The aficionando of make up (xiao yan) put make up on my face after that. Later on I screwed up Xiao yan's make up and Issac's face with my cumbersome hands. I'm a complete ignoramus when it comes to make up! But best of all was melvin. Oh how he made my day! James and I went to put on make up for melvin. So we started off with the foundation- the result was quited F-ed up already so we were thinking like - what the hell, let's have some fun man! So James proceeded to put on a purple blusher. It wasn't that obvious so i tried the blue. Once the brush touched his face, I practically burst into an uncontrollable fit. So James and daps took over and finished the "look". It was hideous but at the same time hilarious! He looked like an alien mixed with a person who just got beaten up and a wayang actor all at the same time. Imagine... Blue and purple cheeks! The trainer got a shock at first but ended up laughing too.

Oh... ANd guess what. On my wayback home, I stepped on a disgusting SP. Sick. And Daps was like, 'go away from me. You're sure gonna be very suay for the next few days...'

I'm at home now thinking what and when my next meal would be. And as usual, Hazel, Serene, Daku and aunty joyce is playing mahjong without me again. I feel so left out...

Went out with Asswipe, Simong and Xianie this morning. At the american university fair thingy at suntec, this guy came to talk to us and asked what we were planning to get into. So i said vet science, ash said law and guess what simone said? She said she wanted to do forensic science! No insult - but it was kinda funny. Can't imagine Simonet cutting up some dead body... After that, we went to watch wet dreams 2. The movie was on the whole boring but some parts were really funny! Like when that ugly girl tried to moan (she sounded like a horse) when she was dancing with the teacher. And when khan bon-gu farted during sex. Haha.. That was hilarious. After the movie, we were, as usual, making fun of simone. We were saying that if she should try moaning when duncan or david gives her back her test paper or something, maybe they might not keep picking on her.

They came over to my place after shopping for like an hour at carefour (in the end they bought only zip lock bags and three plates and mugs). We were just checking out Simone's friendster and taking loads of pictures at my place. Tried to do the mao shen pose (u noe... the seductive one), but it didn't turn out to good. Well.. Simone's did - i say, she's a natural man! We took some pics of yi xian aka the maid cleaning our shirts and being abused as well.

Having a terrible headache now. Actually, i've had it since after the movie. Gonna sleep now anyway...

Didn't walk bear in the end - just ended up blading with matt. And it started raining on the way back. And when i came back, my mother swaped my fishes again! She put a pregnant female guppy with my baby gups! So i had to explain to her later on that an adult will eat the babies up and that overcrowding will cause the death of my gups anyway if they actually lived...
Went for mass after that with Hazel and momo later in the evening. The celebrant was Fr. Looazoo (i don't know how to spell his name). He was mumbling away again as usual. Couldn't understand half of what he was saying. Anyway, I donated 2 bucks to the childrens liturgy and got a free bookmark!
Then we went to taka to eat yoshi (tasted like shit). Hazel bought butterfly prawns from mos burger and i think they're damn nice. Ate about 11 of them. And then we bought famous amos. Now my throat hurts so bad i can't even speak normally. By the way, have you ever tried to cough, burp and swallow something all at the same time? I did 45 minutes ago. I was happily drinking my fruit punch went it happened. It ended up it me squatting along the wisma walkway to recover. How embarrassing.
Got some shirts from G2000 later on. I was almost talked into buying a blazer which costs 250 bucks! Mama was so nice - she gave hazel money to pay for my shirts and dinner. Hazel tried on some halter thingy which looked uncannily like lingerie. That was funny.
